pawned title

AskingIf you did something stupid like got a car pawn title loan, will a dealer pay off that for you if you want to trade in the vehicle. There would be a slight diffrence in the amount owed and what the "dealer value" would be, but I guess my question would be will a dealer even get involved in such a situation?

    I think it might be a problem for the dealer to get a straight answer on the payoff amount from the lender. If they were sure they could get a clear title, they would likely do it. They do it with banks, all the time.
