I own a Chevy Silverado HD Duramax Diesel. I had a 1/4 tank of diesel (~6-7 gaiions) in my tank.

I accidently filled it up with gasoline. It drove for about a block and the engine cut off. It got towed to a dealer to get looked at. Will my diesel truck ever work again?

Thank you Sir. The estimate given to me rough shod was $500 to $600 dollars. Thanks again for responding!

That's enough to drain the tank, discard the contaminated fuel, replace the filters and flush the high pressure pump and the fuel rails and lines. If you get away with just the this much consider yourself very lucky.
