Question on leasing F150's, do you get any of the discounts when leasing or is it just the straight MSRP before any discounts? For example 4x4 Lariat SCREWs are generally around $55k or so but they get advertised at like $45k with the discounts. So if I lease, do I basically calculate the residual value on the $55k price? If so, then I'm probably going to go with a Tundra since I can get a Platinum for about $46k.

The residual is calculated on the MSRP.

The lease payment is calculated on the adjusted cap cost, which is the discount you negotiate, plus any lease specific incentives

That $10K off you see, that is a purchase price, and won't be valid if you decide to lease.

Went back today. Suddenly after I emailed them asking for a breakdown of the lease and provided the residual and MF you guys gave, the payment went from 410 to 307 for 36/12 on a 47800 stx 4x4 crew. Obviously they were ready to rip me off for double or more apr.
Shame too as I've done a lot of business there over the years and several times with the same salesman.

I've always said there are no friends in the car business and I stand by it.

What do you guys think of the 307? I think it's pretty good and should be under 3 with my PCO stacked in.

Given that there are no friends, you should shop that number at other dealers and let them beat it to earn your business.
