My local Mercedes-Benz dealership has an executive loaner for w/ 1,400 miles for $40k. The Carfax history-based value states that VIN#WDCTG4GB2KU004127 should have a retail of $36,740.00. Do I have any leverage to get them down to that number?

I don't know how Carfax comes up with their number, but they most likely categorize it as a used car. And, loaners are technically new.

You walk in and make an offer of what you think is a fair price. Dealer can accept, reject, or counter.

We don't know the formula MB uses to adjust the residual for a loaner, nor do we know if there is a maximum mileage allowance before incentives are not valid.

Girlfriend is looking at a 2019 GLA 250 4-Matic. MSRP of $43,145 in 07728. Final offer for the day was $479 per month for 36 months/7500 miles per year with zero down, minus the first months payment. MF was .0002 and 56% residual. This sounds like a decent deal to me but what are everyone's thoughts?
