  The residual can't be altered. The reason you want to know about it, is to make sure they aren't substituting a different model or trim, or changing the mileage allowance.
  
  The money factor can be marked up by the dealer, for extra revenue.
  
  As in any car deal, you want to negotiate the lowest selling price possible, and watch out for garbage fees and extras sold in the F&I office.
