We don't know the base money factor for this quarter. It was .00290 last quarter, and I would surmise that is pretty close for this quarter, but we have yet to hear specifics.

The acquisition fee has been $995 for some time. We haven't seen this quarter's fee, but I doubt that has changed.

The tax listed is for purchase, not a lease

No mention of the lease acquisition fee
No mention of the money factor or residual

39/12 residual is 55%

If we take the amounts on the left, and subtract the tax (which isn't paid upfront in AZ or CA on a lease, in any event).

+$995 acq.fee
=$98790 Gross CAP
-$6712 rebate
-$2800 CAP reduction (from the $5K upfront, after first payment and tax on CAP reduction is subtracted)
$89278 adjusted CAP (rough estimate)

$1275 + tax (assuming 8.5% rate) = $1377/mo.

That involves a lot of estimating.
I'd verify the following items
Money factor (I used .00290)
Residual (it might be less, if you are over the MRM, which seems possible)
Adjusted CAP cost (that's where my estimating comes in).

My calculation is about $2700 total off of their payment quote. But, if the MSRP on this unit is over the MRM, that could easily cause that amount of difference.

I know they have a big rebate, but 5% off isn't amazing, this late in the model year.

He mentioned his adjusted cap cost is $ 89,431.80 after $6,712.00 (Rebate) + $698.70 from $5,000.00 down payment. Not sure how he came up $698.70 CAP reduction vs $2800 from $5k down payment, I'm checking with him.

Doesn't really matter how they get to it. We are only $150 off on the adjusted CAP.

Good to hear about .00270 for the MF. We haven't seen the "standard" MF for a few months. Looks like it has gone down.

I'm going to put my bet on the MSRP being over the MRM. Do you have the actual residual amount?

yes, the residual amount he used on this 39 months at 12,000 miles per year is $52,910.00. The MRM is $96,200.00. Attached the detailed calculation he just provided to me

That is basically the difference.
Without the MRM, the residual would be $56817. About $2900 higher.

Being over the MRM really kills you. You are being penalized $2900.

If you could pick a unit that had an MSRP of $96200 (equal to the MRM) and received the same 5% discount, the payment would be $170/mo less.

I don't see anything wrong with the dealer's calculations or amounts, now that we have all of the info.

But, still not impressed with a 5% discount, though I don't normally shop for new Porsches.
