Has anyone discovered how to make a last generation CX-9 ride more comfortably?

I have a 2014 CX-9 Touring. Want to keep the vehicle but I'm getting weary of the constant jarring with every ripple in the road.

    Tire pressures?

I ran my last set of Michelins at 33 lb. and wore them out in 50,000 km. so I'd prefer some suspension tweaks.

I wonder how big of a tire you could run. My experience says that 2 sizes larger is generally the limit - so I wonder if a 265/60R18 instead of a 245/60R18 - and then use 26 psi (yes, the load carrying capacity will be the same as the smaller tires was a 33 psi.) This might be the most cost effective way to get a better ride.

If you do that. don't forget your speedometer and odometer will be reading short - that is at 60 mph, your speedometer will read about 58 mph.
