    Hey everyone! Its my first time leasing and I'm just trying to figure out what other information I need to ask the dealer & if I'm getting a good deal. I requested three quotes from different dealers and the best one I got for a CX-5 AWD with the preferred package in zip 07012 for 36 months/12k miles is :

    MSRP : $30,635
    DEALER DISCOUNT : - $2,079
    CUSTOMER CASH : - $1,000
    TOTAL = $27,556
    DOC FEE : + $369
    TOTAL = 27,925

    I know that the RV is 57% but not sure what the MF will be.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

    Yes, NJ collects sales tax upfront. It's either on depreciation, or the sum of the payments, not sure which. Of course at .00001 MF, it won't make any difference. You can always have the tax amount rolled into the CAP cost, though, and with a .00001 MF, that won't hurt any. Anything they get you to pay upfront makes the payment seem smaller. But, I'd rather just pay first payment and DMV upfront.
    Thanks much. Would you be able to confirm MF for Tier2/3 or guide if its already available on Edmunds. Have 780+ on 3 reports so should qualify for Tier1 but if dealer's institute doesn't consider it, what should I expect roughly for lower Tiers

    If you have 780+, you won't have to worry about it.

    Base MF is good for Tiers 1-3.

    You're getting a bad deal. Dealer can mark up the MF .00050.
