I'm trying to determine if I received a good deal on a 2019 BMW 540i. The MSRP was $66,100. I put down $4,400. For a 36-month/15K mile lease, I'm paying $699 a month. New York zip code is 10965. Thanks for any insight.

I'd guess that some of that $4400 is going to down payment.

Do you know the selling price?
Do you know the specific breakdown of the $4400 - is that all down payment, or are taxes and fees part of it?

Back in 2017 I scored a 540i with the following:
MSRP $67,245
Sale price $49,700
Money factor 0.001720
10,000 miles per year
24 month lease
63% Residual
Monthly payments of $595 includes taxes
BTW this vehicle was an executive demo and has 5555 miles on it.
I put $1450 which includes the first months payment, registration and fees

In general, I'm wondering what leases better a 2019 BMW 5 series or an 2019 Audi A6?

$1750 lease credit

Hard to say, without knowing transaction prices, but I'll guess the high residual on the BMW will tilt the scales that way for the lowest payment.
