And yes, if I want a Seltos with the Bose system and all the safety goodies, guess I'm gonna have to suffer with AWD!! Not super happy, but first, let's drive one and see what's what. I might hate it to be honest and as a co-worker told me today, just wait till the new 2021 Golf gets here, if it even comes to the United States, and then make up your mind. You'll probably be quite unhappy if you don't wait. And what he's saying is absolutely right! Why have another potential Tucson incident to deal with? Just test drive both the Venue and the Seltos and see which I prefer. Then wait till VW decides what to import to the U S. And if the Golf SE does get to our shores, heck it out before any purchase is made.
Sound advice I'd say. So tomorrow, no pressure. Swing by that Kia store in Lighthouse Point and take the SX Turbo for a ride. And then soon after, ditto for the Venue Denim Edition. Then, think real hard what could work for ya. Think real hard what you don't want to give up. Think real hard. And then, just wait. The VW Golf will debut in America soon enough. Waited this long sp, what's a bit longer?

ZHP is the Performance Package option on a 330.. It does have the M3 bumper... 🙄, but it’s not an M3.

I seem to remember LSD got a bad rap in the 70's. I guess they've fixed that by now.

Cosmetically an M Tech body kit, staggered 18" wheels, Alcantara shift boot, sport seats, small lip spoiler, a few other things. Mechanically different cams, intake, final gear ratio, a 6 speed MT, tighter suspension, slightly higher redline.

I was going to post some more random thoughts on the car show and our short list. But now I am all distracted. So will add details later.

but right now, the "short" list seems to be an X3, RDX, Santa Fe and Volvo XC60. I am keeping the CRV Hybrid on the list though, at least for a look see drive.

There's one person, local, who asked I let them know if I was going to sell. Haven't settled on a price yet...that may be contingent on whether I get the timing belt service done. Mileage wise it isn't due but it's been around 8 years since the last change.

Now I can't remember what I posted yesterday about the car show. It was a good time, but I did skip a lot of cars I normally would have spent time with. Was with the wife so we concentrated on what we were looking at for her, along with a few things I did want to see. It was crowded and we arrived later than normal so I was already getting hungry for lunch.

sat in most every midsized to larger CUV. She really did not feel that she wanted anything in the CX9/Ascent/Pilot size range. She still likes the previous usual suspects (RDX and Santa Fe). The x3 also, but that wasn't at the show. The notable addition was probably the XC60. It helped that she really liked the color (denim blue I think). So will add that.

various other models didn't move the needle. A couple where the drivers compartment (seat room or console encroachment) took it out. Too big or too small, or thought it was funny looking. Rav 4 just didn't move us.

I liked the Palisades, though it was quite big. Highlander seemed nice too. Did not care for new interior style on the Q5.

in non-CUV stuff, I really liked the Ranger but it needs an interior remodel. Nice size though. New Corvette is darned good looking. I am too old to be hoisting in and out of a Miata on a regular basis. New Ram is seriously nice, but at $71k, it better be. Lincoln has a lot of style these days.

This is one I posted a while back.

2014 w/ 45k miles. 228i RWD manual - well equipped with Premium, Nav, Cold Weather and M-Sport. The brown interior is a nice break from the usual black. This was a local CO car and is in incredible shape.
