The Residual is 57% the lease cash is $3360 plus $500 bonus lease cash totaling $3860 .00185 is for FICO scores of 720 or above but because I am 662 The money factor is .00315.

Hello, I am heading back this week to the Kia dealer that I leased my 2017 Sorento EX FWD from nearly 3 years ago. I am interested in leasing a 2020 EX V6 FWD or SX V6 FWD Sorento. I'm trying to decide if this is a good deal and the right deal for me.

2020 Sorento EX
39 mos / 12k miles
$1300 down... $385/month
$0 down... $410/month

I thought the numbers are all right... (money factor, residual, etc)
But I'm getting $6k of rebates.. but they still wanted 1,300 down, to get my payment to $385/mo. Zero down, the best they said was $410/mo.

Something's not right... or it didn't feel right to me, so I walked.

Any advice or opinions?

The selling price is only $1050 under MSRP. That's less than 3%.
That is the place to look for a lower payment.

I kind of overlooked that when I see all the rebates; but the rebates have no effect one dealer margin. I think the dealer cost on the car is $35,212?

What percentage off the MSRP is reasonable to negotiate to? The dealer near me is a no haggle one, so I'm planning on going elsewhere. Their discount off the MSRP is $1080 so it's like 2.8% but I was hoping to see what percentage off is reasonable to expect?

Okay.. I guess it is 10% sales tax on the rebate, plus DMV plus doc fee. I guess that puts it pretty close.
Acquisition fee would have to be included in the NET CAP.

Given the lease program you have to work with, it's a reasonable deal.
