    Ouch.

Subtract 9% from the stated residual, and deduct .25/mile from the calculated residual.
    No lease credit

You'll need a discount of 25-30% off MSRP to make the deal work.

    Hi Michaell,

I subtracted 9% from the stated residual (56%), which comes down to 47%, followed by the deduction of .25/mile from the calculated residual.

    MSRP is $60,895 * 47% (RV) = $28,620.65
    $28,620.65 - .25/mile = $26,337.90

    Is this accurate?
    Thanks!

When using the leasehackr calculator, I get a monthly of $846. I understand a discount of 25%-30% is needed off MSRP for the deal to work but I'm just trying to understand whether or not my calculations are correct before attempting to get where I should be with the selling price.

I don't know what's going on with the LH calculator, but I get a payment of $668/mo with those numbers.

Does the $46,695 number include the taxes and fees, or is that assumed to be paid up front?

Here is a screen shot of my calculations....

    Thanks, Michaell!!

The $46,695 number does NOT include the taxes and fees.

I re-created the calculations in Excel on my end (thank you so much for posting that). Based on these numbers, where would I add-in the acquisition fee?

    Thanks!

@xxjojoxx The Net CAP includes any additions to the sale price, minus any downpayments or rebates. With a spreadsheet, you have to make adjustments to the Net CAP manually. Any charges that you aren't paying upfront get added to the CAP.

Out of curiosity, how is the residual percentage calculated? For example, the RV for the x3 was originally 56% but was then reduced to 47% due to the loaner mileage.

    thanks!
    Thanks!

Subtract $825 from the calculated residual.

In the screenshot below, does the Residual Adj $ (2,275) get deducted from the Residual Amount of ($25,736.70)?

No, in this example, $25736.70 is the final number.

You can check that yourself by doing the math.

I realized I hadn't documented that part of the formula; I've fixed my spreadsheet to update the description

But, look at the formula in that cell...

@kyfdx @Michaell Thank you! What is the correct formula for the Residual Adj cell?

I'm using 0.25*9131 (the number of loaner miles) and then applying this deduction to the Residual Amt.
    Thanks!

That is correct, and entered as a negative number to reflect a deduct from the calculated residual.

2019 X3 M40 loaner in inventory locally (zip code 43023) What would be the mf and residual for that model at 36/12? Any May incentives, would qualify for conquest, not loyalty.

Assuming it's still eligible for the lease program

    .00118 MF and 47% residual

Subtract $0.25/mile from the calculated residual, to account for the current mileage.
