When we bought the Outback in 2015, we briefly toyed with the idea of getting a Venza. The Toyota and Subaru dealers were next to each other, so on the way to test drive the OB, we swung through the Toyota dealer for a look. Drove past one - the wife took one look at it and said "nope".

I always called the Venza a Camry wagon - it wasn't bad looking at all. New one is kind of derpy, as one expects from the brand these days. Gotta have that C-pillar beltline upkick for "character", "dynamism" and to reduce visibility for a driver demographic who needs all the help they can get.
I saw a copy of the 2021 E-class dealer ordering guide - the "luxury" trim package (traditional grille, hood star) is being dropped for the facelift. Maybe this car will be the one I buy - I greatly enjoy the hood ornament.

I noticed what seemed like a Saab/MB/Audi junk yard car lot in Borrego Springs desert and unforgiving sun. A few of the MB's were thought worthy of a car cover, but the sun beats down on everything, and that hood ornament is usually the first breaking point in a car cover, and most of them were sticking out as it creates a stress/tension point in the car cover, which is where it'll fail first under the hot sun.

On that note, I cover my old car, and remove the hood ornament before covering it. Not to preserve the cover (which isn't very tight), but to preserve the hood ornament spring - I've had a floppy hood ornament before, it is irritating, and somehow I remember it being a pain to replace.

Perhaps it will get the Acura beak reaction, and a change will be swifter than Acurs's was. Vote with your wallet!
'13 Jaguar XF, possibly my favorite of all the cars I've owned. But, my '09 Jag XK was a beauty, as was my '05 Acura TL, '88 Acura Integra, '84 Mitsubishi Mirage Turbo & '78 VW Scirocco (my first!). And, of course, the '92 Nissan Sentra SE-R and '95 Saab 900s I bought for the ex... Ok, I like a lot of the cars in my life.
Also one of those cars I might give a wide berth in traffic - around here seems to have a knack for either loaf ing along at 5 under or making a random wild unsignalled turn from the far lane.
I wish Actuarial data was made public by Insurance companies. How is it Geico can charge $600+ per 6 months for collision coverage on my TTS with 1,000 dollar deductibles and only 6K miles per year, while another company only upcharges less than $200? Of course, Geico's base price is $600 less so they win; I just self insure on the TTS and get Comprehensive protection only, along with a whopping $3,500 in uninsured property protection. The same $3,500 that existed 20 years ago. You'd think someone in government would have used an inflation calculator by now!!!!!

A joint high was the best they could have asked for as the exhaustion of the night and such developments washed over them goodpornsites.pro, bringing them down and down, a softening cock slipping from Sly's tail hole as Nate collapsed beside him, panting heavily. He could barely get out the words that would only be shared between them as mates going forward before crushing his muzzle gently into the pillow, sleep claiming him, dragging him down and down and down even as he drew Sly, softly, into his arms hotmyfreecams.com.. The werehusky snuggled in against him automatically, a warm glow encompassing him, softening the edges of a reality that, somehow, looked even better than it had before. How strange was that?
The reviewer is a bit of an apologist but even at that his comments about the styling themes and resultant trade-offs re headroom and visibility are worth noting. I just dunno about this one...

Just a few from my trip to Ohio and back since Thursday.
Merc GLB. Looks better than the pictures. Can't say the same for the driver. Hung on my rear left for too long after I pulled over to let them pass, so I pulled back left and they got to find out how their auto braking worked. Hopefully they knew it was a feature. Didn't bother me after that.
New Escape, was surprised how much the back looked like the previous gen other than the rear lights. If you only look at the read lights, it looks like a RAV 4.
A red Stelvio, Red was not Italian enough is all I can say.
My favorite, an SL55 AMG. Poking along behind a 18 wheeler on I-81. Driver had a huge cigar in his mouth.

In a neighbors driveway, a new MB GLS. Long SUV. At least has clean styling, looks like a suburban. Probably roomy inside, but the rear doors were super long. Looked abnormal, like they were stretched. Could get ugly when kids start shooting them open in a parking lot.

Quite the barge.
450 or 580?

See them all over South Florida but MB's and BMW's are very popular down here. Audi's, not so much, but starting to see more of them. Or A3 now has around 55K and except for wanting an extra quart of oil very now and then, has been flawless. Sure, it's already had two batteries replaced under warranty and a new set of sneakers, but much more trouble free then my Golf has been. Part of me wants to just take it over once she wants to trade it in but not sure I really would want a sedan to be honest. I want a new hatchback but now that the current oil leak is fixed, holding on a bit even though the axle boots are both in need of repair. But to buy something new when my commute is down to 21 miles/week just doesn't make sense right now. Even though it's a great time to buy if one does have the $!! Love the 0% financing to be honest and the delayed 1st payment period but what to buy is the question.

Two Maserati QPs (current) within 5 minutes yesterday. Perhaps a 2 for 1 sale at the local dealer?

So here's a funny one, I saw a Dacia Duster truck just outside of Seattle when I was coming back from Mt. Rainier yesterday. I didn't get a chance to see the plates, but I'd like to know what it was doing here.

Dacia Duster exists in Mexico as a Renault Duster, maybe MX plates? Or a diplomat car from one of the few embassies that isn't there to flaunt money, or maybe a testing car?
I've seen several Mexican plated cars in WA before.

Saw my first new Defender actually on the road, this one had the 'look at me' sidemounted luggage (pannier for cars?).
I wonder if they are carrying an ADM - the bootstrapping bougie once a year skier occasional hiker (prefers paved trailheads) rough and tumble eastsider outdoorsperson set around here should be lining up right now,
97 sunny degrees today. So, naturally my thoughts turned to wandering closed on Sunday new car lots, local MB/Porsche/Acura/Audi. On the Audi lot, two new E-Tron Sportbacks. My initial thought? Looks like a pregnant A7 on stilts. YMMV.

Down in expensive house land (jersey shore, sadly we can only afford to rent). Car spotting heaven. A few black walk, many newer 6 figure cars. Pretty e450 convertible. Lots of other big MB. pretty M4 convertible. Range rovers dime a dozen.
One house had a new Bentley SUV and a drop dead gorgeous newer Bentley convertible. Dark blue with brown top. I figure the 2 card alone were close to 400k sticker.
Spotted a new style G-Wagen towing a little Airstream trailer today.
Maybe 1:10000 G-Wagen on this continent actually do more than visit a gallery mall/office building/questionably purchased house, so maybe 1:100000 new ones.

See my post if C&C. Was in Margate today. Expensive iron everywhere. Lambo and Ferrari land.
Saw that. Sounds like SH. my son saw something about a house listed cheap. Lowest price single on the island. I think small, needs work. Listed at something like $1.2mill. The cars are no surprise.
A rather glowing review of the new Toyota Venza on Roadshow today. I will need to be convinced on the hybrid drivetrain, but I like what I see otherwise, especially the interior.

The Outback has aged well, in my eyes. The new iteration isn't all that different looking.

I guess some stylists defected from Lexus.
If this is the new corporate look for all BMW's going forward, count me out...

It'll be interesting to see how an assumed decrease in fleet sales hurts the brand in the short term.

Saw a couple CT5 on a car hauler along with some kind of 2er and leviathan X7.
Not new, also saw an SLS Roadster with commercial plates, which made me think "brave tax-dodging bootstrapper" (such plates are not for rentals here).
