Hello... Was able to get an offer from the dealer on 4-cyl FWD Tech with MF and residual you provided, but with 8,700 incentive.. However, they want invoice +500 for the sales price. This seems to differ significantly from the KBB midpoint sales price. About how much below or above invoice could i realistically expect the dealer to negotiate to?

Regarding leases and the "Sticker Price", should the calculated residual be both the Base Price and the Residual? For example the residual is 50%, car is 30K and the Conveyance Fee is $1,000. Is my Residual $15,500 or just $15,000 and I pay the Conveyance Fee with the "Upfront Fees". Thanks!

MSRP X residual percentage = residual value.

Is conveyance fee part of the MSRP? (it is not)

Can I get MF, incentives, and residual on a 2020 TLX w/tech? 10k miles/36 months, 4-cylinder engine, in zip 29223 and 28227 (if there is a difference between the two zips)

Also, do you think doing a 24 month lease would lower the payments? I heard that some people were doing 24 month leases

It's possible that 24 month could have a lower total monthly cost. But, unlikely.

We'd have to know the selling price/adjusted CAP to determine.

Would someone be able to tell me what I am missing with this quote. Dealer claims they are giving me the $4,500 lease cash, $1,500 loyalty and $1k off. I believe all they are doing is increasing the price by the destination charge, then back it out to give me a $1k discount and then making me pay it in the upfront fees. Please let me know what you think.

If I subtract $7000 from the MSRP, then add in the acquisition and "fees", I'm about $8 off the "Price".

Nothing shady about that.

The destination charge is part of the MSRP.

So I have been shopping around a few dealers and might have struck a deal. Car will be registered in CT and tax will be rolled into the monthly payment. Is tax (6.35%) calculated on just the Depreciation payment part of the Lease or the total monthly payment (ie. Depreciation and MF Charge)? Also if I am purchasing in NY, is the $1,500 loyalty taxed at NY rates or CT rates? I am assuming NY.

Tax is on the total payment.

All fees are taxed based on the registration location.
