I understand the state taxes on monthly payment amount, and by my calculation the monthly payment before tax should be $688~, and that comes to $2,400~ in total for tax (9.5% tax rate), which is way lower than the stated $3,000~ number.

You are paying taxes on the rebates - city, state, county....the four tax amounts equals the total tax due.

About 18.5% tax on the sum of payments.

Thanks, but how is the monthly $783.46 determined? Coz my calculated monthly payment using MSRP $69.185, sell price $60,991, rebates $3,000, MF 0.00118 and 60% RV was only $688, before any taxes. This is where I don't understand.
