Hi everyone, I’m searching for a 2020 BMW M240i xdrive, I live in New York City. I’m in contact with a few leasing brokers and the best rate that I’m getting is for an estriol blue/black sensatec interior, premium package/ HK surround sound system

MSRP is 52,835
With $4,000 Down I’m looking at $550 monthly

This sounds high to me but I’m wondering if anyone can give me insight whether or not ill be over paying. I was hoping to be at around $500 monthly with that much down.

Am I better off waiting for the 2021 and building it at this point? Would I be better off finding the car I want and negotiating with the dealer?

Okay, I just leased a m235i Gran coupe with premium, moon roof, parking package, 19 inch wheels with performance tires, HK sound and a few other items, MSRP $52,320. I think I got a pretty good deal but please let me know because I didn't actually see the numbers other than the driveoff, monthly payment and residual. I asked to start with the Summer on deal equivalent which for the m235i example on the BMW site was MSRP of $49,695, 3999 plus tax, title and registration drive-off, monthly payment $439.00 plus tax, 10/36.

I told them I needed them to do a little better than the summers on numbers if possible. I got it for $4000.00 even drive-off so they backed the title, registration and taxes out of the down payment. They bumped it up to 12/36 and agreed to a monthly payment of $460 plus tax. Residual 58%. Took a few days of negotiating. I haven't even seen the car yet because they have to get it from another dealership but should be here today or tomorrow.

Without knowing the selling price or the breakdown of the drive off costs, there isn't much feedback we can give you.

If you've signed for it already, what we think doesn't really matter - if you're happy, that's what does matter.
