    Yes they are aware. Here's exactly what was sent from the dealer:

    "Below are your requested lease options:

    2021 Kia Stinger GT2
    MSRP is $52,075
    Kia Cash rebate of $2,500
    Dealer discount of $4,700
    Sales Price(After Rebates) = $44,875
    TOTAL TTL + fees is $1,642.65 (included in the monthly lease payment)
    Residual = $29,162
    24 month / 10K mile lease monthly payment = $815.48
    1st payment due at signing
    PLEASE NOTE for every $1000 down, the monthly payment would be lowered by $43"

    They seem to have lumped the dealer discount & kia cash rebate together to meet the sales price, but shouldn't part of that be itemized as cap cost reduction?
    Can the $7k lease cash be added?
    How would you recommend I counter?

    Kia Cash isn't compatible with the lease program.

    They've given you a purchase quote... and, then a lease payment.
    That sale price might not be accurate for the actual lease deal.

    Also, what about sales tax? TX taxes the full purchase price, even on a lease That should be $2500 or more.

    I think you need a detailed quote of the lease deal. With only figures that apply to a lease.

    I'm thinking the dealer discount stays, then instead of the "kia cash rebate" - I'd use the 7k lease incentive. (Whether the tax payment gets adjust after or not, remains to be known.)

    The dealer may be allowed to offer tax credits from the state. It dramatically reduces the lease payment.

    You want a discount from MSRP, then apply the incentive on top of that.

    The tip-off? With differing lease rebates for 24 or 36 months, the price would have to change, depending on which term you selected. But, they didn't give you any of that information to begin with.

    Were they actually willing to discount by $4700 on a purchase (when they were quoting the $2500 Kia Cash)? If so, then they should be able to discount $4700 now, in addition to the $7000 rebate. Which would drop the 24 month payment by about $190/mo.

    No explanation - the dealer cannot alter the RV, and the incentives are factory to customer.

    Check with a second dealer and see if you get the same, or different, information.

    Weird. I've now had two dealers tell me they have 5900/58 RV//00125 for a 24 month lease only.

    Perhaps I read your original quote wrong (several posts ago). Is the GT1 AWD in 64157 on a 36/10 5900 lease cash, 58% RV, .00125 MF? Or are those numbers 24/10?
