    Narrowed down the vehicle choice to 2021 GLS 450. Problem is very low inventory nationwide due to COVID, manufacturing issues.

    The dealer has suggested to build own and delivery timeline is around 3 months. They said they will offer 3% off price.

    Since it’s not a car in their lot - can I negotiate further?

    I was hoping that if I found the car on their lot and before the end of the year, I would be able to negotiate a good deal.

    Any tips on getting a good deal?

    They've already told you what they will sell it for. No inventory. The only leverage is to try another dealer.

    I have 2014 ML 350 that is paid off. If I trade in that for a new lease on 2021 GLS 450. Should I get the check for that amount or put that as down payment?

    Is this for the 2020 or 2021 model?

    Either way, the MF is marked up. Insist on the base rate.
