Thank you for your help. With the info you provided me I was able to help a friend negotiate a 7500mile/36month deal on a $51k 2021 330i for 506/month including tax (9.5% in LA county). Drive offs were approximately $2500 which included first month, tax, title, registration, doc, etc., and $500 CCR. Their initial offer was 577/month on a different car with a 46k MSRP, so my friend was very happy with the deal he got. I don't have exact details of the deal to share because it's not my car.

The CCR was the only part that was a little iffy... we were stuck around $540/month with the same money down. He got us to 506/month by giving us an additional discount on purchase price and we put in $500 as CCR. He also raised the MF at this point, but I did not ask how much because he got us to the price my friend wanted so he was happy with the deal and ready to sign.

I did catch an initially marked up MF which gave us some leverage. Just knowing what MF and RV were allowed us to work some numbers before going in and know what to expect. Knowledge is power.

I do appreciate you guys and hope the CarMax deal doesn't affect your ability to offer this service to us consumers. You have helped me lease 3 cars now!

Question: What is suggested course of action if the info I'm getting from the dealership (money factor, specifically) is WAY off from the info I get in this forum? For 2021 M340xi dealer is quoting me .00133 money factor, compared to .00093 via this forum.

That is the maximum markup. You negotiate it, just like you would the selling price.

Hi there! I received an offer letter from the dealership to return my lease early and they'll give me an extra $3k preferred customer bonus incentive on top of the $2k ($1,500 + $500) lease incentive for a new 2021 330i.

I'm still going to try to get the sale price down from the MSRP, just not sure how firm I should stand. I'm assuming they'll say they can't budge very much because they're already offering the preferred customer incentive, or they'll say they had to raise the MF from .00093 because of the additional incentive.

Any insight/tips I should keep in mind when negotiating relative to the things mentioned above?

I doubt there is an actual $3000 incentive from BMW. The $3000 is likely the discount they are offering on the vehicle. Those letters are just marketing. Expect nothing

You want to see the entire calculation, though. So, you are certain where your money is going.
