Hello,

I worked out a lease on a 2022 LE 36/12K at zip 78758.

It is 2k down(this includes the taxes/fees, and the first months payment.) The regular monthly payment is $325.

Is this a decent deal? My credit is tier II, and I've never leased or financed a car before.

Do you have the MSRP and adjusted cap cost?

We don't have a complete picture of the deal, so it's hard for us to comment on it.

I will say this - leasing in TX will always be more expensive, as you pay sales tax on the entire selling price.

The MSRP is around $22,500. I'm not sure that the adjusted cap cost is. If I'm being honest, I only learned what that was after getting this deal. I've called other dealers just to see what's up, and they mostly tell me that the cap is simply MSRP, minus 500 bucks maybe.

The adjusted cap is the selling price plus any taxes or fees you aren't paying up front.

I'd be curious to know what the breakdown of the $2000 up front monies is.

But, if you've signed for it and taken delivery, our thoughts really don't matter much.

You also have to account for the acquisition fee ($650) and the dealer doc fee (probably a few hundred dollars) - if they aren't paid up front, they get added to the selling price.
