We have the same year and model. We can attest to the horrible build quality and unsophisticated harsh ride . In two years ours have been into service at least a dozen times and sometimes for weeks. Sometimes their own service techs are at a loss and tell us too bad. It's clear Tesla has no quality control and is building as quickly and cheaply as possible. At this point it's falling apart as fast as their service techs can fix it. When something comparable comes on the market we are going to dump the pos, hopefully before the warrantee is up.

You can get more than you paid for it BRAND NEW right this very second. Why don't you just sell it right now if it's so bad?

And for the article's complaint of "recalls" They fail to mention that NHSTA considers "recalls" are actually over-the-air software updates that you simply download at home overnight. The recalls don't require you to take the car to a service center.
