Ok thanks. The salesperson is trying to say the incentive is only available on a purchase, not a lease. She’s obviously full of it, right?

Salesperson is wrong.

And, the incentives are linked to the program, and should lock in with the programs.

That is the correct number.

Leasing is really bad, across all makes and models.

Better to look into a purchase.

Normally, you'd tell them you want the base rate or you'll shop another dealer.

But, given the current market conditions, you may not have much choice. Negotiation is always your best approach.
