It’s also the tension on the spring. That can weaken over time. Also on larger loads the resistance is higher causing heat which in turn also degrades the connection. Bottom line it is not as strong … (View Post)1 -

Make sure you have the hook on the wire running in the same direction (clockwise) as the screws turns. When you tighten the screw it will make the "U" tighter. It also helps to tug slightly… (View Post)6
