What is the impact of a faulty sunroof screen on the resale price of a VW Tiguan?

The sunroof screen on my 2010 VW Tiguan is not closing completely. Shop is asking $750 to disassemble sunroof and check it, without any required parts (if any). Total cost could be upwardsof $2,000. What's the impact on resale value of the faulty screen (note that sunroof operates normally)?

I guess it will depend on the needs of the buyer, but there's going to be an impact. If a buyer can live with the screen not closing, they're still going to want "credit" for being willing to take it "as is". If someone wants the car, but wants the screen to work, I'd look for them to be looking for a serious discount off the asking price since they plan to spend the money to fix it.
