As far as option A goes just follow the link to see if you are purchasing below invoice. You should be able to get it below.

I hope I did that right. Please let me know if this is a good price. I was hoping for something closer to $400 with $0 down...
Car_Man, what do you think?

See the link above, there is a $1,000 "Conquest" rebate available just for trading in your Acura.
If you want to try to get even more, I would take your trade over to Carmax or something like that for a comparison trade. I am in the Houston area so there was another similar place I took my car, then went back to Audi and got them to match the trade offer.
Finally, if it were me, I would simply tell them (not ask) that they need to take another $1,000 off of the price because of the conquest offer and let them know that they are still significantly above invoice as a result.
Thanks!
That said the information from Audi I see shows the S-line coming with "summer" vs. all season tires.
I would like to have the dealership change the tires before I purchase the vehicle. How should this effect my negotiated price? I understand this request will need to be clear before we get to a final price just don't know what I should be paying if anything. The alternative is to purchase from my tire dealer at home a second set of tires for the winter ( l live in the mountains). I did have 2 set of tires for my last AWD car. Just a guess but I would think a second set might be $1200.
Second question. There is a vehicle in inventory which is very close to what I am looking for. Been there at least 30 days maybe longer. If it is still there at the end of April would I be able to negotiate a better price than now? I realize this is some what of a gamble because it could be gone tomorrow so the price reduction would need to be more than hundreds of dollars to be worth the risk. I don't know when the 2014 start to show up so I don't have an understanding on the timing.
Thanks for the help.

Car dealers pay interest on cars sitting on the lot so they might have more invested in some cars. That could not be in your favor.
I would visit them 3 days before the end of the month and purchase the last day of the month with your financing all lined up with your local bank. Do not purchase any add on's. They are all in the dealers favor.
Thanks so much for your help.
When you say "do not purchase any add ons" I am assuming that includes the prepaid maintences or any form of extended warranty?
I have asked Audi directly (e-mail inquiry) about the tires because I found it so strange not to put all season tires on the S-line trim but so far have not gotten any response.
Thanks again.

Unless you do all maintenance yourself, you will save money by paying up front. Also, on one of my Audis I had some real reliability issues and having the Audi care helps eliminate any potential for them to look at you as being at fault.
They will have the warranty and maintenance responsibility. Considering these cars are pushing the upper edge on technology it should be thought that maintenance will be expensive and a warranty claim is possible.
Peace of mind counts for something, but in this case it also makes financial sense.
Here are the options
2013 Audi A4 2.0T Premium Plus Sedan
Premium Plus Package ($4,200)
Audi MMI Navigation Plus Package ($3,050)
Audi Guard All-Weather Floor Mats ($250)
MSRP - $44,060 & dealer (in MD) agreed to give this for $44,310.12 (on the road price including everything)
I currently own a 09 BMW (which I didn't tell them yet) & I think I can get $1000 off because of this? Also I'll try to see whether I can get a good deal with trade in this car as well?
What's the best way of approaching this? Should have a firm final price for the new car & then talk about the trade in?
Or should we talk about a final price including both?
Please help me. thanks!

I'm looking to purchase a 2013 Audi A4 2.0T Premium Quattro (2.0L 4-cyl. Turbo AWD 8-speed Automatic) (Northern Jersey)
Options include:
Premium Plus
Audi MMI Navigation Plus Package
Audi Advanced Key
Audi Guard All-Weather Floor Mats
I am eligible for the $1k Conquest Incentive
I think a good deal would be $39.5k (with incentive), MSRP ($43.5k) but do you think I can get a better deal?
Thanks for any insight
Thanks for your help
There is still a profit of at least 1200.00 built into the car if you get it for 39.5. That does not include the back end of the deal which could be another 2k in profit.
I plan on financing a portion of the car, so if go with them I'm paying 1.9% for the portion I finance.
You don't think a dealer would go much lower than the 39.5k, if at all?
Back end of a deal, is after you negotiate a sale price. It includes financing profit, Audi Care profit, warranty profit. A dealer will make something on everything he sells you. There are plenty of warranties available tire, paint, ding, rim. Dealers make money on all of these extras which are called the back end of a deal.
I do not recommend any extras. Most people never use them or forget they have purchased them.
If you want to save money you need to be a tough negotiator. Dealers just try to wear you down by keeping you in the dealership for a long period. this is a tactic they are taught to use. Tire you out and you give in. The opposite also works. You come in fresh and they want to get rid of you.
Any input will be appreciated.
But One dumb question ! :confuse:
I cant find the link to find the invoice on the car
Thx
The MSRP was $43.5, Invoice $40.5, paid $39.7
Good Luck, its a great car!
Lease Details
39 Months, 15,000 miles per month. Total Out of Pocket at Signing: $1540.00, which includes First Month, Bank Fee and NYS Documentation Fees. Taxes Rolled into the Lease.
A4 - Premium Model, With Convenience Package, Heated Seats, Lighting Package, Exhaust Tips and All Weather Floor Mats - Estimated Total MSRP: $38,495.
Total Lease Payment: $499.00
In addition, They are paying the last three months of my current lease @ $658.00 x 3 = $1974 value. With this value divided by the 39 months, The least payment price is equivalent to $449.00 without the trade in.
The lowest I was able to get any of the other 6 dealers down to was $529.00 and the highest was $613.00
Good Deal?
Looking at a 2013 Premium plus - MSRP 45,875. What would be a good deal for this car?
Thanks.
Also, see if you qualify for an existing manufacturers rebate like a loyalty program, or a conquest rebate. Eg. if you already own an Audi or a direct competitor like BMW, MB, Acura, Lexus Infiniti.
I wound up paying about $1000 under invoice because of the rebate. Also, don't fall for surcharges like glass etching for $250 or anything. Finally, you could end up with the car at or below invoice, but get low balled on the trade in.
not a specific answer but gives you some things to think about in your research
Negotiate cost of car before trade in. Again do not purchase extras.
MSRP: 32,300
Offered sales price: 24980
Tax: 1,66*.00
Dealer fee: 599.00
Then there are tag application fee and another small fee add to roughly $90
Total OTD: 27,3**.00
Then I was able to bring it down a bit to $26,950 and they wouldn't go down anymore.
About the car:
FWD Premium
36K miles on it
3.5 years of CPO left on the car
clean carfax, one lease owner
the dealer is willing to thrown in all-weather mats for free
Any ideas if this is a good/okay deal? Thanks!!
I intended to buy a AWD, but after some research I changed my mind. I am a regular commuter coming from a Honda Accord, so FWD has enough features I am looking for for an A4 for now. Thank you for your advice. How about the price tho?
Few thoughts, with end of mo approaching, there could be more incentive. I am a loyal BMW-3 owner for 10 years and Audi has done a tremendous job to convert my brand loyalty. I purchased Q5 for my wife few mo ago after considering X3 and I decided on A4 after considering 2013 BMW 3. I must say it is not all about price but features compare side by side, Audi offers more. I could not find any BMW below $40k with light pkg and the new Audi light pkg is so nice. Good Luck!!
The interior trim on the A4 is significantly better on the 2013 vs 2012. Eg real leather vs leatherette. Improved gps and maps. More thoughtful button function and nicer use of aluminum trim.
That being said, if the BMW was within $1000 for the same features I would but the BMW. But it isn't. One thing I noticed is the BMW 3 series stock stereo is garbage whereas the Audi is nice. Although I would still spring for the B & O because that one is I credible for stock.
Anyway. Congrats on your new car. Enjoy it.
retail worksheet
If they know you are serious about buying, they should deal with you.
I have a Acura and I was told that the conquest rebate is limited to BMW and Mercedes only. There are no added rebates.
