a 2013 crv is on a short list to replace a sienna van was wondering is all wheel drive worth the added cost and. Me and the wife live in florida so we would not be going up mtns or hills .also have read on here about the road noise issue have it been narrowed down to any one reason. any help would be appreciated.

It seems to me that you would have no need for 4WD so why buy one with it?

Road noise has become much less with the newer models than in the past.

For your use it would be a waste of $$$. We have a 2012 CR-V and live in Tennessee. We went with 2 wheel drive. We get a little ice and snow and have had no need for all wheel drive.

I have a 2010 CRV with 2WD - drive it for business. One thing else to consider is heavy rain. My 2wd model just isn't as competent as my other SUV which has a very good AWD set-up. I know Honda revised their AWD in models newer than mine, and, I don't know how good it is.
