2006 Ford Expedition. Driver's Power Seat Not Working

I have a 2006 Expedition Limited. It's been a great vehicle. But recently the driver's seat stopped being able to move back & forth; up & down. It would seem the seat motor has gone out or a bad wire, etc. The heated & cooled seat also is not completely working. When heated or cooled, the seat warms or cools a bit but not like the passenger seat & not like before the problem started. I've been told that the problem could be a simple fix or very complicated. Any others had similar problems and what was the fix?

The seat power as well as a number of other things like the memory mirrors are controlled by a module under the seat. That could be an issue. The motors that move the seat can go bad, but likely not all three at once. One of the issues with the heating and cooling is that the seat foam deteriorates and clogs the channels the air travels through. There is also a filter for each seat, might be worth checking that too.
