Set the carpets aside until the cold season is over.

Can I use them during allergy season??

I got rubber mats for the Miata, but the wife hated them. She told me to put 'em on there when I sell the car, that way they look brand new. :D

Mazda puts that warning in bold red letters - don't stack 'em!

    Valid in California only.

Free ticket to the auto show in Anaheim September 22-25, plus a one year subscription to Motor Trend.

The promo code in the link should be OCVW-f (VW of Orange Co. is emailing the code out I guess).

Some Southern states, selected dealers. Limited number of registration slots.

    Register here:

FoMoCo (If you don't see the "Claim Now" button, try a net search for "ford focus honda" - maybe there's something about your IP, but I can't find it).

Let us know if that extends to the Motor Trend show in Baltimore, MD, which is usually in February.

It didn't work for me and we are planning to start our search with the Ford Focus. Any other way to get the free rebate? Did a search on the "Ford Focus Honda" and got nothing. Since we plan to go there, why not get the $ or whatever they are giving away.

Thanks all for any help, I am...

Sorry, I can't get it to work either and the link where I read about isn't helpful either.

Nothing seems to work...even called my local Ford dealer and they had no idea what I was talking about. If this is the way corporate Ford runs promotions, just wonder how good their cars can be! I really want to have her try the Focus sedan as it looks really nice from the few I've seen on the roads down here...very sporty actually!! Hopefully they'll figure this promotion out in the near future! I am,

Sounds like it may show up in a banner ad too.

Oh well, maybe I can make amends with a Ford Focus contest link and you can win one.

Note that you have to sign up for spam email, and it's not easy to turn it off.
  • Sandman6472Sandman6472 Member Posts: 7,218
Thanks for the link. I'll enter it daily and hopefully win it...have never ever won any kind of contest so this would be cool. And then the wife could have it...or not. Keep it for me and give my son the Civic...he's living in Milwaukee for the next year so a/c won't be an issue for him there.

Really do like the Focus & Fiesta with the nice alloy wheels and would have no problem owning either one right now!

Buy before 10/31/11, MIR by 12/1/11.

$20 on two pads, $40 back for four pads.

  • steverstever Guest Posts: 52,454
Must be a Monroe shock promotion going on too - you may be able to combine it (whatever it is) with a promotion from Advance Auto. Use code SHOX2 when you check out and get 25% off your shocks (over $300). Or 15% if you spend $200 or less.

Don't ask me what happens if you spend $250. :-)

Hm, guess this code stacks with the Monroe promotion also going on at Advance. So you buy the shocks, take the discount, and then send in a mail-in rebate.

    Profit. :-)

    (and usual disclaimers!)

If you don't like Monroe brake pads, there's also a Wagner Thermoquiet rebate going on. $15 rebate per pair of pads or shoes, up to $30 back.

Looks like it's good through the end of the month.

I don't know what these things ordinarily cost but some Costcos have a "Premium" car cover for $19.97.
  • Sandman6472Sandman6472 Member Posts: 7,218
Anyone have any luck finding this promotion yet? I've followed all the steps and nothing...nada. Called the dealer again and they are still clueless! Was this a regional offer maybe? Any help would be appreciated. I am,

You see the FatWallet post where it says to try it this way and click on the ad?

    Go to google
Type "ford focus honda test drive"

The first ad result (shaded tan or pink or whatever color)
Civic vs Focus - See A Civic & Focus Comparison.
    www.myfordtestdrive.com
$50 Says You'll Love The New Focus!

You'll need to disable any ad blocking software.

And it sounds like the success rate is pretty low.

Doesn't make sense. Also joined FatWallet.com and still outta luck. Beginning to think this is a real hoax on Ford's part. A shame too because the Focus is a looker and would never have even put any Ford model on our shopping list. And I do agree that the Focus has overtaken the Civic and Corolla in the looks department...and this is coming from a Honda lover too! Arrgggg!!!

I don't know enough about these to have a clue if this deal really is a bargain.

Buydig has the Escort Passport 9500ix Radar/Laser Detector for $379. Free shipping. You have to create an account, log in, and put it in your cart to see the price.

$20 more gets you the 9500ix with a Supercup and Red Smartcord.

No bargain at Amazon either. Dang, these things are expensive.
  • steverstever Guest Posts: 52,454
The details are a bit fuzzy but apparently if you live in Southern California, you can visit a Ford dealer and tell them you heard you could get a Mammoth voucher for test driving a Ford.

Then take the voucher code to this link and redeem your code for a M-F lift ticket.

I have something similar I got as a gift. Cheap, but if you're cold natured, and can tolerate the lumps (maybe this one is lumpless?), it's okay.

    Heated Seat Cushion

Vibrates too. Was $29.99, now $15.99 from Sears.com. 12v or DC.
  • ateixeiraateixeira Member Posts: 72,587
I got a similar one as a Secret Santa gift one year and it was too cumbersome. I used it more at the office, when I sprained my lower back. Now it's in a box some where, collecting dust.

Amazon has the Tokyo Motor Show on Blu-ray for $6.50, old price was $14.99. Released in 2008. Mixed reviews, good eye candy to run in the background when car buffs come over.

Eligible for free shipping if you spend $25.

We have one too, though it's slightly older. We also have one from a different manufacturer - neither of them include updates, and that's the really expensive part.

Still showing 22 products for me.

    Try this link?

Otherwise, search floor mats at Sears, then Automotive, then you can select Price and Promotions > Sale.

I don't know if the $25 sets on half price sale are any better than the $15 ones though.

Mail in rebate on Quaker State Ultimate Durability full synthetic oil. Good for $20 off an oil change or $20 off the purchase of 5 quarts. The fine print is pretty specific on what the retailer receipt must say.
