Mercury Cougar Gas Mileage

Does anyone know what the these cougars in the years I stated get? There are to used ones I'm looking at for possibly buying , one has 147k on it and the other has 118k on it.

    have 99 v6 std trns. getting 18to 21 mpg in town.mine has 153k

    I just bought a 1996 cougar with 145000 on it,havent picked it up yet but going to Monday,im using it to drive back and forth to work ,about 35 miles round trip,seems like a pretty tight vehicle ,wish me luck... :confuse:
