Did Ford drop the Cabin air filter in the 2008 model Taurus?

    All new cars have them.
    05 Sable access is from engine compartment passenger side. Clunky clip arrangement plastic flashing just below wipers. Some cars access through the glove compartment. Check the owners manual.

    It looks like Ford has dropped the cabin air filter on most of its new cars. Is this a good idea?
