I'm in a jam. I replaced my radiator, '94 Astro with factory engine oil cooler, and my engine oil cooler outlet (lower) line broke at the fitting. No one in the area has a line in stock and I really need the van. Can I cut the lines to bypass the radiator until I can get the correct line? Will this harm anything? I would figure it would be as if it were never there. Thank you.

As long as you don't drive long distances or tow anything it should be ok for a few days until you can get a new line.

My '93 Safari has a bad drip on the driveway. Checking I find the hoses from the oil cooler to the radiator are seeping COOLANT! Aren't these lines carrying oil to the radiator and return?.
