I posted a previous thread adressing this problem im having but i dont see it. Anyways, i have a 1993 Rodeo with a 2.6 liter 4 banger, and its a 5 speed. Recently when ive started the car , it always backfires, and when i get up to speed it looses power in all gears. I have to keep pumping the gas pedal to keep it at speed...if u keep the pedal at a constant pressure it looses speed. when it does this the check engine light goes on. ive replaced the icu and the throttle posistioning sensor...but nothing has helped......if anyone has any ideas...please let me know....

I have a 99 rodeo and it occasionally gives a rough jerk. It doesnt do it all the time. It may go a week or more without it happening and then it will start it again. we have checked all the fluids and so forth. I have no leaks at all on this car. any ideas?
