Engine Peformance

I am planning on purchasing a 2009 Outback but am trying to decide between the 2.5XT vs 3.0L engine. My last vehicle was a 6 cylinder so I am a bit uncertain as to what engine will provide me with the best power. I travel a lot to the Sierra's and haul equipment and 4-5 people so I like the extra power to pass the long haulers. Any advice?

Turbos need a load to spool up.

At elevation, turbos just use their bleed off valves less, and often still make full power, while normally aspirated engines wheeze for breath.

    For you, turbo, no doubt.
