Overhead DVD player won't play DVD's just CD's

Can anyone tell me why after unplugging our battery to replace we are no longer able to view DVD on our overhead DVD player. It still plays CD's but gives us error when putting in DVD.

    I had the same issue as well (well still have it). I get a disc error everytime I put in a DVD (although CD's play just fine - even with the overhead screen showing track number, etc.). Any assistance would be helpful!!

    Haha. That is so funny. Never heard about that. You need a replacement. I've just got one from online, only &129, good and cheap, share with you! overhead car DVD player
