changing spark plugs/coils in 2003 V6 LS

I'd like some advice on changing the spark plugs on my LS. I have read a lot of helpful stuff but, I'm not sure what all has to come off the engine etc to get to the plugs on the left side. I have removed the plastic cover on the right side and those 3 plugs look manageable but, the left side is a little more intimidating. Any advice?

You gotta pull the upper intake manifold to get to the plugs on the other side.

Supposedly it's not too hard but I don't know if I'd try it. I have an '05 V6 with no coil problems yet.

the whole intake manifold has to come off to get to passenger side plugs and coils. good luck. If your doind this yourself i would reccoment colored electrical tape to mark where things go. and you should just replace the coils and plugs while you got it open. also the gasket for the intake manifold is in six or eight different pieces so dont get disscouraged

I see my post up there from '08 where I had no coil problems. Should've knocked on wood when I wrote that. I bought three coils, gonna probably have my mechanic pull the manifold and replace those three and order the other three and do thm myself.
