I smell a stinky smell, it smells burnt, help

    That wouldn't be a sulphur smell by any chance?

    I guess it could smell like sulfur, what ever it is, it still stinks after 10 hours after it cooled down. I think the smell you are talking about it catalytic converter. I think the stink may be coming from the rear end it self.

    Can you determine whether anything in the rear is excessively hot after driving your Cherokee like wheels, differential and so on?

    thanks for the info. I was wrong what the smell was, it was a converter.
