Windshield wiper de-icer

I just bought a 2010 Outback Premium with the All Weather Package. The dealer is 20 miles away and we are in the middle of a winter storm. Where in the heck is the switch to turn on the de-icer and heated outside mirrors?

    It goes on with the rear defrost. No seperate switch.

    Same for the heated side mirrors. :shades:

    I've been making great use of all 3 with all the snow here in DC!

    That is what I thought but maybe I was expecting more noticeable results. I couldn't see that it was doing anything.

    Spray a fine mist in the area - you'll see it melt around those de-icers.

    It's really meant to clear the area where the wipers "park".
