Hyundai Tucson vs Toyota Venza

Trying to decide between a Tucson or a Venza. Have done a test drive with the Venza and it was beautiful inside but the breaks felt weak, the engine wasn't peppy and it just wasn't that fun to drive. Never thought I would consider a Hyundai, but the new one looks cool.

Any thoughts? With all the options in the Tucson, the price is basically the same as the Venza. Thanks!

    Little late reply but are you serious???

    We have both a 2010 Toyota Venza & 2011 Hyundai Tucson GLS...........they are two totally different class vehicles.
    Why would you try to compare them?
    Pricing the same?..............NOT.

    Both excellent vehicles but to compare them is just plain silly.
    Now let's compare a Toyota Corolla and a Ford F-150. :-)

    You'd be surprised - we have people comparing all sorts of vehicles around here that don't look "comparable" at first blush.
