2010 4runner - Exterior Water Dripping onto Seats

When I open any of the doors, exterior water resting just above the door drips onto the seats. I don't know if this is a problem with the door seals? Has anyone come across this issue? Could this be a design flaw that allow beads of water to collect between the gap of the door and roof? (Door windows are completed closed, car is parked on level ground)

If anyone has any insight on this issue, it will be much appreciated.

We have a 2010 Limited 4wd and the place i have noticed is the rear door -- when we drive thru rain or if we get the car washed there is water inside the door seals and all over the hydraulic lifts for the rear door. Also have noticed a lot of dust and dirt intruding in the back area but not really inside the car just in the door seal area. This is on my list to talk to the dealer about when we go for 5K checkup.

I'm replying to the last two posts.

Due to vehicle designs where the curvature of the door wraps into the body at the roofline, moisture can drip onto the seats when the door is opened. My 2003 does this, as well as other vehicles I own.

For the moisture at the rear door seal and the hydraulic lifts, my 2003 does this too. It is the design of the vehicle, and yes, dirt, and pine needles, for example, may accumulate. Wipes right off and doesn't cause any rust or interior leaks.

I'm not saying this is a good thing, but my experience is this is normal due to the vehicle design.
