1999 Grand Am - Trac Off light + Service Engine

My service engine soon and trac off lights came on this morning on my way to work. On my way home tonight, I started having acceleration problems. When I stopped at a stop sign, it didn't want to go.

Any ideas?? What do I need to do or where do I need to take it?

I am having the same exact problem. I checked and it may be the ABS senisor and that cost about $461.00 at Kragens.

My Trac Off light also was on off, My neighbor had me check the trans fluid. It was low so we added some and that fixed the problem ( strange as it may seem(

Doesn't seem strange at all, traction control is a function of the transaxle.
