can a roofmount dvd monitor and player void my warranty?

    It shouldn't, but dealers can be @$$holes.

    Only way it could void your warranty is if the installation of the DVD unit caused an electrical failure in the vehicle which is doubtful if installed correctly. Otherwise there is little chance it will void a warranty. There are so many consumer protection laws now that permit owners from choosing aftermarket options like this one.
