Thumbing through Time magazine last night I saw the foldout Chebbie Trucks advertisement. Looks like they're gonna manufacture that SSR concept truck. Kind of a retro combination of a 48 Chev pickup with the mechanics of next years Vette!

I want one!

I want to see a comparison test somewhere down the road: Chevrolet SSR vs. Dodge Dakota 5.9 R/T. 'nuff said

I don't usually like new age styling but its so new age its 50's (maybe we will all get lucky and cars will return to 50's styling) . Looks like it would be fun, it will be based off some sort of new truck platform. I have only been able to find a little on this new platform, but the new plant GM is building in lansing (1 of the 2) will be dedicated to the new truck platform(its kind of a truck car hybrid, man I'm sick of that word how about you guys?), if the SSR is a indication of things to come, welcome back Chevy, we missed ya.

    lol
