Our 2007 Chevrolet Suburban's rear a/c is running when the ignition is off and vehicle is locked. We will go out to our vehicle to leave & the suburban will have a dead battery. We have taken it to several different dealerships and they have replaced fuses, batteries, and the rear a/c compressor and we are still experiencing the same problems. Could anyone help please????

I had this problem on my old '97 Suburban, and it was a bad relay (had stuck secondary points together). The relay was in the control circuitry in the back A/C unit.

I now have an '07 as well, but I don't have time right now to get the schematics out and figure out whether the '07 has the same circuitry, or where in the '07 circuitry the problem would be, but the dealership should be able to nail this one pretty easily.

Do a little searching and find a GMC Mariah (I think that's her id) on the Suburban forums here, she can help you get a case opened and get the dealership some support. Ii think she requests that you click her link to send email, but she's put those instructions in a number of posts as well.

In the meantime, pull the fuse so you don't run down your battery.
