I have an 02 Chevy Astro van with a 4.3 engine, I going to start at the begining of the problem. About 1.5 months ago my van for some reason would not start, I have another car so I let it sit till I could look at it. 4 days later I started to mess with it and tried to start it and it started just fine ( end of problem ). Now 1.5 months later its doing it again. When I try to start it, it will act like it wants to start the on the first and second crank of the engine, then on the third attemp it wont even think about hitting. I let it sit for about 20 mins and the same things happen again. I am a fair mechanic and do "all" my own work, I have checked the codes and they are temp sensor out of range and Bank 1 sensor 1 out of range with nothing else, I have 62 psi at the fuel rail, bright Blue spark Leaving the coil that will jump 1.5 inches to the coil wire, but I had yellow spark at the plugs so I replaced the cap, rotor and coil wire, still only yellow spark at all 6 plug wires. I Have a 99 Chevy Suburban with a 5.7 and looked on autozone's web site and saw that they both have the same part # for the the spark controler so I took it of the Van and put it on the suburban and its tarts the suburban so That tells me its NOT that. So in recap I have spark all the way to the plugs and I have fuel
( I did try spraying starting fuild down the intake with no luck). I need help, we are expecting a major winter storm in a few days and I need my all wheel drive.

I'm pretty sure that "out of range" should default to something that will at least enable the engine to start and run. 65 PSi sounds good but you also need to check fuel volume. Make sure that you don't (or didn't) cross the #3 and #6 wires below the floor board. (difficult to eyeball, worth triple checking). If you only replaced the coil wire, try replacing the rest of the wires. Not fun, I know, but worth while. Go from there, let us know what you find.
