Exhaust entering cabin of GMC Terrain

We really like our 2011 GMC Terrain with one exception. When driving down the highway and following a diesel powered vehicle, exhaust fumes from that vehicle enter the cabin of our Terrain, even with the recirculation switch depressed. Technicians at the local dealership do not have a solution to this problem. Previously owned a Pontiac G5 and depressing recirculation eliminated problem. Does anyone have a solution?

Hhmm Don't have a solution, but would wonder about putting recirc on after fumes entered the cabin, perhaps that is just re-circing the stink.

No Ray80.......the problem occurs even when recirculation is left on all the time. Outside exhaust from other vehicles, mostly diesel, is continually drawn in. You would think the GMC people would have a response?
