2008 T&C Signature series noisy engine and AC issue

We've only had the van for seven months. Bought it with 19,000 miles on it. The van runs very nice but I am starting to have issues with the AC and a noisy engine. The front AC stops blowing but the rear doesn't. I have the 3.8 engine. My father in law is a mechanic and he pointed out that the engine should not be that loud. At first I thought that it is because I am running the AC but it sounds the same with it off. My odyssey was never loud like this. I am taking it in to dealer to see what is causing the engine noise. Anybody else have same issue with AC and noisy engine.

We don't have engine noise, but the a/c issues. The a/c was recalled last year but still doesn't work right. Never is cold enough in the back. My poor kids roast to death in the 3rd row especially since it's been in the 90's for two weeks. It's actually too dangerous for anyone to sit back there.
The van goes back for other issues including the air next week.

The AC issue happens for us as well. Had the AC control head replaced back in 2008 when the car was brand new. The blower in the front goes off when you idle for more than 15 mins and the outside temp is above 90 degrees.
AC still stays on and blower in rear still works. The front blower resets itself after turning the car off and waiting a bit.

Any info on the AC control Head recall for 2008-10 Town and Country with automatic temp controls.

    Thanks

I have a 2008 G.C. that has a lot of noise at speeds above 30 MPH. I don't think it is engine, but maybe transmission/transaxle or tires...? It seems like it is loudest in the driver seat. Hoping it isn't transmission problems, but tires or poor sound deadening. Let me know what the dealer tells you.

Maybe it could be the wheel bearings. I had them changed and the noise went away. Check your tires for wear too because mine were almost ball. My is a 2008 chrysler TC.
