Are you a current or recent car shopper who bought an EV and then installed solar – or who had solar already, making the decision to go electric easier?
OR
Are you a recent EV buyer (past 3 months) as a result of manufacturer incentives and dealer discounts on these vehicles, including year-end deals? Were you convinced to buy an EV after finding a good end-of-year deal, or due to uncertainty around which EVs will no longer qualify for full/partial EV tax credits in 2024? Chrome molding insert

Hi Guys.
Just picked up a 2005 Grand Marquis LS with 15,000 miles on it.
I may be 74 YO, but I am stoked!
It is pristine.
Well........... except for the plastic chrome inserts that are on each corner of the bumpers front and rear and a few pieces down each side.
Every one of them is pitted and ugly.
I went to Tousley Ford (online) and called them and they reiterated that the pieces are discontinued.
Now what?
What the heck would a body shop do?

You might try searching www.car-part.com. They probably won't list those exact pieces, but if you find a salvage yard that has Grand Marquis bumpers, they may have those inserts. It would probably take some calling around, but the search results there list the yard that has the parts, with a link to the yard's website if they've got one.

Turns out that Tousley Ford was full of crap.
Was in my local Ford Dealer (Galloway) and he looked it up, ordered them, Received them and I will be putting them on this weekend.

Probably a lesson to be learned here.
