HELLO, I HAVE A 1986 MAZDA B2000 P/U WITH 192,000 MILES. LAST NIGHT IT JUST STOPPED RUNNING AND THE EGR LIGHT CAME ON. IT HAS GAS, BATTERY IS GOOD, OTHERWISE NO HISTORY OF THIS PROBLEM. DO I NEED TO REPLACE THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER?

No, you need to turn off your Caps Lock key and have the Exhaust Gas Recirculation system serviced.
