Heated Driver seat stuck all the way up

Any suggestions on what to look for with the Chrysler 300M (2002) being stuck all the way in the up position? The seat moves back and forth, but will not go up or down. When you press the button up or down, the motor THUNKs, then stops. It is like it is trying to move, but is stopped by some limit switch or something.

Appreciate any help!
