2005 KIA Sedona AC Compressor Problem

jonkarpinskijonkarpinski Member Posts: 1
Hi. Recently, my Sedona's AC has stopped working and ever since then, a clicking noise can be heard while driving. What I want to know is if the engine will lock up because of the clutch on the AC not working. Would charging the AC fix my problem?

By 'stopped working' ... there is no air at all or there is no cold air?

Either way, charging it simply makes the air coming out of the AC cooler.
    So the answer is no.
